It Goes Forward took the stage at DHL's Now and Next event to present Forwarding as the next step in sustainable logistics. The audience included logistics leaders from across Europe.
Now and Next is DHL's annual forum for supply-chain innovation, with a strong focus on circular commerce and carbon-aware logistics. The presentation walked through the Forwarding flow, the peer-reviewed matching algorithm behind it, and the ISO-standard CO₂ accounting per transaction. The shared thread with DHL is practical: we use DHL's carrier network for many Forwarded shipments, and every Forward removes one warehouse-bound leg from the return journey, which is a measurable sustainability gain the carrier can substantiate to its own customers.
